Misty morning at NDC.

The weather was pleasant when I first arrived at the reserve.

Lots of lapwings, golden plovers and dunlin, with smaller numbers of ruff and redshank.

Greylags and canada geese on the reserve, with lots of pink feet flying over. Most of the ducks were wigeon, then teal, mallard and a few shovelers and shelduck.

A buzzard landed on the edge of the bund, it was looking at something in the grass before it flew off.

No sign of any whooper swans. I moved to the higher hide, but alas when I sat down the seat was wet through and so I had to come home and change!
