Local birding

Weather not brilliant today and no reports of any "special" birds, so just local birding.

Askham Bog was my first stop.

Blue, great and coal tits. Goldcrest and wood pigeons and noisy jays.

A distant male bullfinch

Not sure if this is one of several robins I saw or was it following me?

This great tit was also keen to get close to me, I must take some bird food on my next visit.

I then received a phone call, so had to leave and do some emergency shopping.

After shopping and lunch I decided to visit another local spot, Chapmans Pond.

Lots of blackbirds feeding on the berries

On my way home I saw this fox roaming about, and managed a few blurred pictures from my car.
