Skydancers at Blacktoft.

Did half a day in reception at Blacktoft today. Not as many visitors as on my last visit, which was a pity as the marsh harriers were putting on a brilliant display. Males were doing lots of skydiving.. A poor picture of 3 of the 8 birds displaying in front of 1st hide.

Females were carrying nesting material.

When reception closed at 5pm I spent 20 minutes in Marshland hide. This little egret was busy fishing in front of the hide.

I then went to Reedling Hide and saw 2 barn owls hunting.

A pleasant ending to my day.
