RSPB Newport Wetlands

 In the area visiting granddaughter at university. Decided to take the opportunity to add another RSPB reserve to my list. A strong wind was blowing, which meant that the birds were sheltering, but I still managed to add to my year list.

Lots of reedbed.

Crossing this floating footpath was a new experience

Pleasant walk through this patch of woodland with several small birds about.
