Woke up this morning to discover the weather forecast was correct and we had a covering of snow.
I scraped some snow off the garden path and put some food down for the birds.
Blackbirds were the first to arrive.
several male blackbirds arrived, so they started chasing each other rather than feeding.
a female blackbird sat on the fence and watched.
Meanwhile wood pigeons carried on feeding
they were joined by some house sparrows
starlings kept flying back and forth.
this male was on the bird table next door
a female starling was feeding on some suet cake.
