A varied day, for the first of February.

 First job of the day was to take the dog for a walk, we went to West Bank Park.

a bright sunny day but still cold. Lots of bird song, mostly robins.

Then home to sort out the bird feeders.

the starlings would fly in and pick up bits of food and fly off, sometimes they dropped the food on the road and a herring gull would swoop down and collect it.

wood pigeons just sat and ate.

Then a spot of lunch before train spotting!

not brilliant pictures as I was looking into the sun.

Then onto Hob Moor with the dog.

I was surprised to see a daisy in flower.

Snow is forecast for tomorrow
