St. Aidans.

The weather was better than I expected on Sunday, so I went to St. Aidans, as it was a while since my last visit.

I t was still a bit misty in places as I walked around part of the perimeter path  Black headed and common gulls were on one edge of a lake, while goldeneye were busy diving for food in the deeper water.

A pair of stonechats were close to the path but a chap with a bigger lens than mine, and a bigger belly, had to get closer, so they flew off.

I was nice to speak to Nick outside the visitor centre, I last saw him when we worked together at a Deer Shed Festival 2 years ago.
